Abstract:
To provide a rolling tool for machining a gear that can suppress an extra thickness portion from being generated on a tooth plane of a work-piece during rolling-machining and at the same time can perform processing for polishing a range from the tooth plane to a tooth bottom of the work-piece, and a gear rolling machining method using the rolling tool for machining a gear.SOLUTION: A rolling tool 10 for machining a gear comprises a plurality of teeth 11 and 11 arranged radially toward a radial direction about a rotating shaft O10, where the plurality of teeth 11 and 11 is formed of machining teeth 12 (12A and 12B) which perform rolling machining to an inner peripheral surface of a work-piece and a polishing tooth 13 having abrasive grain electrodeposited on a surface thereof. The machining teeth 12 and the polishing tooth 13 may be formed consecutively along a direction of the rotating shaft O10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
