To provide the rolling toy of a simple structure for transmitting sound and making complicated movement in which children or pets or the like are continuously interested.

This rolling toy is provided with a switch device 2, a sound transmitter 3, a power source 4, a motor 5, a combined gear device, a magnet device 7 and an insertion plug 8 inside an outer shell body of a spherical or egg shape. A part of the outer shell body constitutes an insertion plug cover provided with a switch part and the switch device 2 is linked with the switch part and makes the motor 5 and the sound transmitter 3 flicker. One side end of the power source 4 is fixed to the shaft of a main gear and the motor 5 for which a sub gear is fixed to the shaft is fixed to the other side end parallelly to the shaft of the main gear. The combined gear device 6 is composed of the combination of the main gear and the sub gear fixed to the shaft of the motor. The magnet device 7 is provided on the inner wall of the outer shell body and on the outer side end of the power source 4 or the motor 5 through a spring for one or more pieces each. The insertion plug to an external power source is provided on one end on the side of the outer shell body switch part of the shaft of the main gear.
