Abstract:

To learn and understand "hiragana" and "katakana", (which are called as "kana" hereafter) by forms and sound with input of Roman alphabets even in the case of a computer where only one byte (European language) character can be inputted.

Software is constituted by combining character data and sound data of "kana" on the computer by inputting the Roman alphabets. Even if the computer where only one byte character can be inputted, "kana" can be learnt and understood by the form and sound, and it can be experienced even from an overseas computer using the Internet. The computer where software is displayed is arranged in a hotel in Japan, where many foreigners gather. It helps the foreigners taking communication with Japanese people by using "kana".
