To construct a roof heat insulation structure using a heat insulation panel A responding to all of three heat transfer elements, namely conduction, convection, and radiation, and to reasonably suppress heat transfer from the outer surface of a roof into a living room.
Upper and lower plural layers of moisture penetration waterproof intermediate sheet 22 and lower surface sheet 23 that has a radiation heat reflecting function, and an upper surface windbreak layer 9 are interconnected fallably via standing piece groups 24 and 25. A heat shield 2 having air layer spaces S between two of sheet layers 9, 22, and 23 is integrally laminated on the heat insulating material 3 to form the heat insulation panel A. The panel A is engaged and held between rafters 1 of a roof truss. Thus, the radiation heat and convected heat of load heat from the outer surface of the roof to the indoor side are suppressed by the heat shield 2, conductive heat is suppressed by the heat insulating material 3 to reduce heat accumulation of the heat insulating material 3, and water vapor of a roof underlay material 7 is exhausted in a route of the roof underlay material 7 → the windbreak layer 9 → the air layer spaces S thanks to the existence of the windbreak layer 9.
