Title:
ROOF MATERIAL AND ROOF STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3782553
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheat of a roof surface by laying a waterproof material on the back of a roof material, the surface of which has water absorptivity, and in which water absorbed from the surface can be held in the interior, and providing a void between the roof material and the waterproof material.
SOLUTION: A roof material 1 formed by a square plate is formed by a water permeable tile, water absorptivity is provided by many very small holes of the surface 11 of the roof material 1, and the very small holes are communicated with the interior to hold water absorbed from the surface 11 in the interior. Further, a waterproof material 31 is laid on the back side of the roof material 1 through a bearing material 32, the waterproof material 31 has the mountain parts and the valley parts alternately folded to form a void K between the valley parts of the roof material 1 and the waterproof material 31. Water absorbed from the surface 11 of the roof material 1 can be held in the interior, whereby when the roof material 1 is heated by direct sunlight, the held water is evaporated to take heat of vaporization, thereby preventing the roof from being overheatd. Accordingly, an effect of cooling a garret of a building to save the cooling load in summer.
