Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a device by providing a plunger and a spool with a first pressure receiving surface where the fluid pressure of an output port is applied toward the fixed core side and with a second pressure receiving surface where the fluid pressure is applied to the opposite side to the fixed core, which has a wider pressure receiving area than the first pressure receiving surface.
CONSTITUTION: When a plunger 13, that is, a spool 161 is sucked to the fixed core 12 side, liquid pressure is applied from an output port 291 to a braking device 5. The reaction force produced by fluid pressure of the output port 291 according to a pressure receiving area difference between a first pressure receiving surface 301 and a second pressure receiving surface 311 is applied to the spool 161. Accordingly, the electromagnetic force generated by a linear solenoid 61 is held down comparatively to the minimum. A second guide cylinder 10 is integrated with a valve housing 151 and the plunger 13 is integrated with the spool 161, so that the linear solenoid 61 and a control valve 71 can be made in a compact size. As a release port 231 is provided on the fixed core 12, the length of the valve housing 151 is reduced.
