PURPOSE: To enable block construction of the roof structure of a large space structure so as to achieve labor-saving, reduction of term of works and reinforcement of a joint part by suitably joining wooden members by a metallic joint to form a structural member as a unit.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed groove part 12 is provided in the center of each end part 11a in required plural number of wooden members 11, and the plate part 7 of a T-shaped metallic material 4 is put in the groove and fixed by a bolt 15. The head part 6 of the T-shaped metallic material 4 is brought into contact with each outer side part 3 of a metallic polygonal cylindrical joint 1 and bolted 16, whereby each wooden part 11 is bound to the polygonal cylindrical joint 1 through the T-shaped metallic material 4.
