To provide a roof structure capable of preventing the smoothness of a roof surface from being lost resulting from solar radiation heat or the like.
A roof structure 1 is provided with a roof substrate layer 2 and a waterproof layer 3 which covers the roof substrate layer 2. An intermediate adjustment layer 4 formed of a foamable resin is disposed between the roof substrate layer 2 and the waterproof layer 3, so as to adjust the spacing between the roof substrate layer 2 and the water proof layer 3. A protective layer 6 is disposed above the intermediate adjustment layer 4, so as to keep the temperature of the top surface of the intermediate adjustment layer 4 lower than the glass transition temperature at a maximum. The waterproof layer 3 is disposed above the protective layer 6. A humidity control layer 7 is disposed between the waterproof layer 3 and the protective layer 6.
