The eaves side edge part of the roof tile covers the ridge side edge part of the roof tile laid in the lower position, and the ridge side edge part is covered with the eaves side edge part of the roof tile laid in the upper position. The projecting part 2 is formed in a laterally uniform manner on the eaves side back face of the roof tile.
