In a roof tile having an insertion hole 4 for insertion of a connecting wire at a proper place thereof, the insertion hole 4 is formed in tapered shape so that an opening 41 on the underface 21 side of the tile body 20 has a larger diameter while an opening 42 on the top surface 22 side of the tile body 20 has a smaller diameter. Thus, when the wire 5 is inserted into the insertion hole 4, a wire end part 5a is easily positioned to the opening 41 (having a larger diameter)on the underface side of the insertion hole 4 from the underface side of the tile body.
