PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily slide and adjust a roof tile by forming the roof tile provided with a water passage part at the front face and a tile-insertion part at the side face and forming a level difference part between the tile tail and the tile head and further, forming a plurality of grooves and water-conducting grooves at the tile-insertion part.
SOLUTION: A water passage part 3 is formed at the front face 2 of a roof tile and a tile-insertion part 4 is formed at one side face of the front face 2. And a flashing 5a is formed at the upper tile tail 5 of the tile front face 2 and a water drip 8 is formed at the lower tile head of the tile front face. A lateral rib 12 preventing the tile from getting out of place upward and two slide grooves 13 arranged with a distance are provided between the tile tail 5 and the level difference part 9 of the tile front face 2 to guide a tile. When this roof tile 1 is laid from the ridge side one by one, an engaging part 6 is set in the tile-insertion part 4 of the lateral direction and the engaging protrusion of another tile 1 is fitted in the slide groove 13 on the tile-front face to slide the tile. Water flowing down on the water passage 3 is led to flow from the level difference part 9 through drain grooves 18a, 18b and discharged from a water-conducting groove 20 to a water-flowing face. Accordingly, water can be led to flow down without overflowing to the tile-insertion part.
