Title:
ROOF TILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3924117
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile capable of being firmly mounted so as not to blow it off even in the case of strong wind and, at the same time, preventing the incursion of rain water to make a leak.
SOLUTION: A hanging down edge 2 approximately vertical to a roof tile body 1 is hung down to the end of an eaves side of the approximately plate-like roof tile body 1. The end of a ridge side of the roof tile body 1 is used for a fixing piece 4 fixed by driving a fixing tool 3 such as nail, screw or the like. A pair of back-inclined ribs 5 and 6 inclined so as to approach the ridge side with the approach to the tip are projected to the lower surface of the eaves side of the roof tile body 1 in approximately parallel with each other and, at the same time, an insertion groove 7 is formed between a pair of post- inclined ribs 5 and 6. A front-inclined rib 8 inclined so as to approach the eaves side with the approach to the tip and capable of being inserted and locked with the insertion groove 7 is projected to the upper surface of the ridge side of the roof tile body 1.
