Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a folding roof, which is expanded by supply of air so as to be developed to a using position, and a manufacturing method for the folding roof.
CONSTITUTION: A belt-shaped tube cover 12 is wound around the outer circumference of a flexible air tube 10 through which no air permeates so as to be fixed by means of welding. The air tube 10 and the tube cover 12 are curved into a loop approximately so as to be overlapped on the circumferential edge part of a roof sheet 11 having an extensible characteristic, and then, a protruding part of the tube cover 12 is fixed on the roof sheet 11 by means of welding.
