To provide a roof which can ensure mounting accuracy by simplifying a supporting structure of a roof face material, and which can enhance construction work characteristics even if the length, along a drainage slope, of the whole roof is large.
Since a step is formed between upstream and downstream roof face bodies 10A and 10B, the drainage slope lowered to the side of the downstream roof face body 10B from the upstream roof face body 10A is formed by the step. Since the roof face body 10 is split into the upstream and downstream roof face bodies 10A and 10B, the length of each member such as a panel 14 and a lateral supporting member 15, constituting each of the upstream and downstream roof face bodies 10A and 10B, can be decreased even in the case of the roof with the large length along the drainage slope. Thus, an operator can easily handle each of the members; for example, only the roof can be assembled by a single worker; and the construction work characteristics can be enhanced.
