Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an openable/closable roof which can implement roofs variously different in opening mode, including a dome-like roof, by using variably deformable truss frames.
SOLUTION: The movable roof is the dome-like roof, and formed of a plurality of roof pieces 2 which each are obtained by radially dividing the roof by lines passing a dome crown as a center. Each roof piece 2 consists of an opening/closing driving arm 4 formed of a variably deformable truss frame, and a plurality of roof panels 6 arranged in parallel along the arm 4. The roof panels 6 are connected to each other via hinge portions (not shown), and they are bendable. When the opening/closing driving arm 4 of each movable roof piece 2 is curvedly deformed in an upward direction, the roof panels 6 are bent via the hinge portions, and the movable roof piece 2 is progressively upward warped, to thereby deform the roof piece in the order of (a)→(b)→(c)→(d). In this manner, the entire roof is opened.
