The roofing material fixing brackets engages with an eaves-side front end of each of the roofing materials arranged on an upper side and on an eaves edge side. To form each fixing bracket, a folded engaging piece 3 which is simultaneously mounted and secured onto the lower-side roofing material and a roof substrate, is formed at one end of the fixing bracket, and a fixing piece 5 for fixing the roofing material adjacent thereto in a ridge direction is arranged on one side of a fixing section 2 of the fixing bracket with respect to a longitudinal direction, followed by forming bracket fixing holes (or a hole) 4 formed of a plurality of nail holes or a single slot in the fixing section 2 along the longitudinal direction.
