PURPOSE: To hold safety even at inclined roof of a middle story building by using a roof tile having a hip side through hole on a flashing part or the nearby position and having a head side through hole on a wash part or the nearby position, positioning the hip side through hole on the overlapped part of roof tiles, and fixing the roof tile onto a roof bed material after positioning the hip side through hole on a communicating position.

CONSTITUTION: After roofing a roof tile to be positioned on the under side on a roof bed material, the head side through hole 17 of a roof tile to be positioned on the upper side is positioned on the hip side through hole 16 of the under side roof tile. Then a screw is driven to a wooden bar from above the head side through hole 17 through the hip side through hole 16. The head part 3 of the roof tile is on the eaves edge side, the hip part 4 is on the ridge side, respectively provided, two lines of valley parts 5 and mountain parts 6 are formed on the surface from the hip part 4 to the head part 3, and the head part 3 is provided with a wash part 8, the hip part 4 is provided flashing parts 9, 10. Water flowing in the valley part 5 increases the speed on the inclined face 13b and flows out at the send-out face 13c at step difference formed with the faces 13c and 13b. Hereby, permeation of rain water can be prevented.
