To provide a roofing structure capable of suppressing the occurrence of cracking in a roof member during the construction or the like.

In the roofing structure, roof members 1 adjacent to each other in the direction parallel to eaves are disposed so that the side ends thereof abut on each other, and roof members 1 adjacent to each other in the direction of eaves ridge are disposed by placing the eaves side end of the ridge side roof member 1 on the ridge side end of the eaves side roof member 1 so that the abutted side end of the roof members 1 adjacent to each other in the direction parallel to the eaves is positioned at the lateral center of the eaves side roof member. A slit part 2 is formed in both sides of the ridge side end of the roof member 1, the roof members 1 adjacent to each other in the direction parallel to the eaves are disposed while the side ends thereof abut on each other, and a backing reinforcing member 3 is disposed across the slits 2 of the adjacent roof members 1. Consequently, the lateral center of the roof member 1 can be reinforced by the backing reinforcing member 3, and the occurrence of cracking in the roof member 1 can be suppressed.
