Abstract:

To provide a roofing tile facilitating the execution of works of a roof by easily positioning the tile while being capable of firmly fixing the roofing tile and being capable of sufficiently resisting even an earthquake having a seismic intensity and a strong wind and a construction method for the roofing tile.

The roofing tile is tile-overed so that the eaves-side end section of the tile on the ridge side is superposed at the ridge-side end section of the tile tile-overed on the eaves side. In such a roofing tile, the ridge-side end section of the roofing tile on the eaves side is held by the base of the eaves-side end section of the roofing tile on the ridge side and a hooked fitting section 15 formed to the base, and the place of the construction of the roofing tile on the ridge side is determined.
