To provide a rooftop roof enabling a cooling function to be considerably easily and inexpensively provided thereto.
This rooftop roof 1 includes the cooling function in the sloped roof 2 on a rooftop. A plurality of plate-like bodies 6 are disposed stepwise on the sloped roof 2 along the slope direction. The top surfaces of the plate-like bodies 6 are formed generally horizontal. Each plate-like body has, at the end edge, a rise part 7 extending vertically upward from the top surface. A water reserving part 8 for reserving water is formed in the top surface surround by the rise parts of the plate-like bodies 6. The plate-like bodies 6 are disposed on the sloped roof 2 through an asphalt waterproof layer 5. The plate-like body 6 is formed of a covering concrete.
