Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sound by applying vibration to a lens member, without degrading appearance from a cabin.SOLUTION: A room lamp 1 for a vehicle includes a body 2 attached to a car body roof part 5, a light source 11 installed inside the body 2, a lens member 3 which allows illumination light from the light source 11 to penetrate toward the cabin, and a vibrator 18 which makes sound by applying vibration to the lens member 3. The lens member 3 includes a lens part 14 facing the light source 11, and a step part 15 adjoining the lens part 14. A rising part 17 is protruded from an inner surface of the step part 15 which is lower, in transparency, than the lens part 14. The vibrator 18 is attached to a protruding end face. A shielding member 22 is provided at the lens member 3, and the vibrator 18 is shielded from a cabin side by an opaque part 24 of the shielding member 22.
