To permit persons to enter a room by checking several persons even if a person having the entrance authority is not present, when the multiple persons are entering a controlled area where checking with several persons are required.
In a room entrance/exit management method, the entering authority of each person entering a room is checked at an entrance to a controlled area, and when the entering authorities of two or more persons are confirmed in a predetermined time, the two or more persons are permitted to enter the room at the same time. The method includes a step in which a person authorized to enter the room entrusts an exertion of the room entrance authority held by himself/herself to a third party, specifying a period of the entrustment, a step for storing in a storage part the content of the entrustment on the entrance authority exertion, and a step for authorizing the entrance of all the persons entering the room, also when either of the persons entering the room including two or more person whose entrance authorities are checked has an effective entrance authority entrusted to be exerted, by checking of the entrustment content, which is performed by a management device determining validity/invalidity of entering the controlled area.
