Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition for obtaining a cast of mold impression that has an excellent mold releasability when applied to unsaturated polyester resins.
SOLUTION: This room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition for obtaining a cast of mold impression comprises an organic compound having at least one sulfur atom in a molecule. Sterically hindered thiobisphenols, zinc salts of substituted dithiophosphoric acids, thiodipropionates represented by the formula: R'O2CCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2R" (R' and R" are each a 1-40C monovalent hydrocarbon group), and silicone polysulfides represented by the formula: Sa-(R1-Si(OR2)3)2 (R1 is a 2-8C divalent hydrocarbon; R2 are each a 1-40C monovalent hydrocarbon; and a is an integer from 2 to 7) are excluded from the organic compound.
