Abstract:
PURPOSE: To further improve the fatigue strength of the root without generating inconveniencies such as cracks at the root part even when the working load is increased in executing the root roll working by using a root roll tool.
CONSTITUTION: In a root roll tool 1 provided with an addendum part 1b to press a dedendum part 2b to improve the fatigue strength of the dedendum of a work 2 having a tooth 2a, addendum parts (1b-A', 1b-C') to press the dedendum parts 2b(2b-A, 2b-C) on each side of the tooth 2a(2a-1) are provided across the tooth 2a(2a-1) on the work 2 side.
