Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of surely performing a weed separation and dig ging-out in a root vegetable harvester.
SOLUTION: This root vegetable harvester comprises a weed separating part 2 for selecting and regulating the shape of the stems and leaves part 1a of the root vegetable planted in a row in a ridged field and constituted by a fixed weed separating plate 2a installed at the front end of each of the weed separating frames 23, and a vertically rotating and tine appearing and disappearing type selecting device 2b installed as inclined with low in front and high in rear poster, and chisel 4 for digging into the soil to pick up the underground part of the root vegetable (root part) after raking the stems and leaves part 1a of the root vegetable with a raking device 3, and constituted by a left and right pair of blade bodies obtained by propositioning horizontal blade parts extended from the lower ends of the vertical plate part of the chisel 4 to the inside direction of the machine body as opposing each other, and mounting the middle position of the vertical plate part of each blade in vertical direction on the working frame as capable of swinging in front and rear direction centering at a pivot.
