PURPOSE: To maintain always the tension of a support rope constant by constituting a device for detecting the sag of the support rope to control the rotational speed of a rotary driving device of a compact simple mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A spring member 40 is provided such that an arm 30 mounted pivotably on a winch 20 depresses a support rope 3 through a rope guide roller 31, and a potentiometer 50 is mounted on one side of the arm 30. A pivotal angle from the potentiometer 50 is inputted to a motor controller 60 provided to control the rotational speed of a motor 21. Thus, the pivotal angle of the arm 30 is detected and fed back to a motor controller 60 to control the motor 21 for driving the winch, so that the tension of the support rope 3 can be always maintained constant.
