To provide a temporary roof which has a simple structure and which enables the temporary roof for covering of a job site during construction to be opened/closed by one person's labor for a short period of time.

A sheet roof for construction work is configured as follows: a rotary sheet winding device having a blue sheet wound around a vinyl chloride pipe is placed on an upper part of a scaffold; pipe rotation devices are attached to the right and left sides of the rotary sheet winding divice; and a rope one-turned around the right and left pipe rotation devices is pulled to make the blue sheet spread or wound in a rope pulling direction.
