Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily if necessary judge the normal or abnormal thrust of a linear motor by providing a thrust detecting means for detecting the thrust of an elevator generated by the primary coil and a magnet member of the linear motor in a ropeless elevator apparatus driven by the linear motor.
CONSTITUTION: Fixing plates 41, 42 mounting permanent magnets 40A-40D as field magnet member of a linear synchronous motor and holding a cage frame 23 are provided with load detecting means 45, 46 the output signals of which are sent to a controller on the ground through an induction wireless communication means 7. When the thrust of the linear motor is detected in the stoppage thereof, the outputs of the load detecting means 45, 46 are compared with a reference value in a comparing circuit on the basis of a command from a check commanding circuit. When the output as a tension load is larger than the reference value, the output is sent out. On the other hand, when the thrust in traveling is detected, the outputs of load detecting means 45, 46 are compared with the corresponding reference value to generate the output when the detecting value as a compression load is smaller than the reference value.
