Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of noises when an antenna element is rotated ans also to surely setting element at its rotary position by using an insulated material to the rotation support part between a coaxial connector and the support member of the antenna element.
CONSTITUTION: A coaxial connector contains a plug part 13 which can fit a receptacle part attached to a radio equipment main body, etc. The part 13 and the support member 12 of an antenna element 11 are connected together and can rotate around the axial core of a center contact 14 of the part 13. In such the constitution of a rotary antenna, an insulated cylindrical shaft 15 is concentrically attached to the contact 14. The member 12 is made of an insulated resin material and rotatably by the shaft 15. Furthermore no electrical contact part is provided except the contact part of the contact 14 between the receptacle part and the part 13.
