Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a gas separation membrane having excellent carbon dioxide separation capacity by using a polymeric material having a bulky structural part as a repeating unit and having an ester group as a substituent of the repeating unit and respectively specifying the structure, substituent and content of the repeating unit.
CONSTITUTION: A gas separation membrane is obtained by using a polymeric material wherein 5mol% or more of a repeating unit has a bulky structural part represented by formula (wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a halogen atom and may be same or mutually different and R5 and R6 are a hydrogen atom, a sulfonic acid group, a carboxyl group, a 4 or less C alkyl carboxylate group or a 4 or less alkyl sulfonate group and may be same or mutually different and 10mol% or more of the repeating unit is a 4 or less C alkyl carboxylate group or alkyl sulfonate group as a substituent).
