Title:
ROTARY CLEANING BODY FOR SUCTION CLEANING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03131218
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a device to be certainly prevented from being entwined with thread scraps whatever long they are, by fitting a rotary body to be rotated with a driving gear, pivotally in a suction device, and by arranging numberless projections projected in the radial direction from the outer periphery of the rotational locus of the rotary body.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary cleaning body 3 supported pivotally and rotatably in a suction head 1 is set, and is rotationally driven by a driving gear 4. The rotary cleaning body 3 is a cylindrical body consisting of hard nylon excellent in sliding property and abrasion resistance, light alloy, or the like, and on the outer peripheral surface, projection group trains 9 having numberless projections 9a projected in the radial direction from an axial core are formed. Accordingly, the tip sections of thread scraps 15 hooked to the projections 9a are worked to be relatively stretched backward by the friction resistance of the thread scraps of a section pressure-welded by the rotary cleaning body 3 on a carpet 16, and are easily removed from the projections 9a. As a result, the rotary cleaning body is not entwined with the thread scraps whatever long they are, and the shaft end of a rotary shaft also is not entwined with the scraps.
