To keep liquid in a minute space part in a compression chamber side and avoid irregular pressure rise due to liquid compression even if liquid refrigerant is sucked in a cylinder chamber and liquid compression operation is performed by making a chamfer shape in the compression chamber side larger than a chamfer shape in a suction chamber side in a shape in a cylinder inner diameter side.
In a rotary compressor, the chamfer shape in the compression chamber side is made larger than the chamfer shape in the suction chamber side in the shape in the cylinder inner diameter side of a blade slide groove 22 to make communication between a delivery port and the minute space surrounded by a blade 5, a cylinder 2 and a roller 3 at a time of compression completion. Consequently, liquid is kept in the minute space part in the compression chamber side and irregular pressure rise due to liquid compression can be avoided even of liquid refrigerant is sucked in the cylinder chamber and liquid compression is performed.
