To improve operation efficiency by reducing friction loss between a first member and a second member while stabilizing behavior of the second member, in a rotary compressor in which the first member and the second member relatively and eccentrically rotate under a pressed condition.
An oil reservoir part 23c for reserving lubricating oil is provided on a frame 23 facing a back pressure space S3. Lubricating oil leaking out of an oil supply groove 21d provided on a sliding surface of a fixed scroll 21 and a moving scroll 22 is stored in the oil reservoir part 23c when behavior of the moving scroll 22 is unstable. A lower end part of an oil discharge pipe 42 of an oil discharge passage 43 establishing communication between the back pressure space S3 and a low pressure space S3 positioned above the space S3 is positioned in the oil reservoir part 23c.
