Abstract:
The compression mechanism of this rotary compressor has a cylinder which has an axial through-hole, a rolling piston which is driven by a rotating shaft and which is contained in the through-hole of the cylinder, two end plates arranged on the opposite axial end surfaces of the cylinder, a vane which protrudes into a cylinder chamber formed by closing the through-hole of the cylinder by means of the two end plates, and which is in contact with the rolling piston to divide the cylinder chamber, thereby forming a compression chamber within the cylinder chamber, and an injection flow passage which conducts an injection refrigerant to the compression chamber. The injection flow passage is formed by connecting a first hole which is formed in the cylinder, and a second hole which is formed in one of the two end plates. The second hole is open only to the cylinder-side end surface of the end plate.
