PURPOSE: To make one cylinder cope to various output requirements by a method wherein preparing plural number of section and exhaust valves each installed separately to a chamber limited by blades making these sets to uneven pitch.
CONSTITUTION: A blade 4, a suction port 6, and an exhaust port 9 form the first compression system, and a blade 4', a suction port 6' and an exhaust port 9' form the second compression system. Relative position of the blades 4 and 4' is made in different pitch, and the position of suction ports 6, 6', exhaust ports 9, 9' are made correspondingly uneven, to make compression volume of the one system (in an example shown in the drawing, the first system) is larger than that of the others. Now, the exhaust port 9 of the first compression system is connected to the intercooler 12 with piping 10, and its exit is connected to the suction port 6' of the second compression system by piping 10'. This arrangement allows one rotary compressor to act as 2-stage compression systems using an intercooler, to result in compact and highly efficient system.
