PURPOSE: To obtain a compressor having a high compression efficiency by forming a vane from the aluminium alloy containing reinforcing fibers arranged in parallel to the direction of a rotor shaft and reducing the side clearance of the vane.

CONSTITUTION: A vane can be prepared by introducing fused aluminium alloy 12 into a molding vessel 11, and then extruding said alloy with reinforcing fibers 13 from a molding port 14 having a shape similar to the section of the vane and then cooling and cutting said material. Therefore, the thermal expansion rate of the vane can be made very small, and the side clearance of the vane in a compressor can be set small, and the compression efficiency of the compressor can be improved.
