PURPOSE: To improve the capacity efficiency of a rotary compressor by preventing the heating of the inhaled coolant gas in a suction pipe by fixing a sealing case and the suction pipe through a heat insulating article.

CONSTITUTION: The suction pipe 2 of the captioned compressor is fixed onto a compression element 3 through a ring-shaped heat insulating article 11, penetrating through a sealing case 1, and fixed onto the case 1 through the ring-shaped heat insulating article 11 fixed onto the suction pipe. Therefore, the suction pipe is prevented from the convection of heat from the case 1 and the compression element, and the heating of the inhaled gas is prevented and the increase of the specific volume of the coolant which flows into a compression chamber 4 is prevented, and the capacity efficiency of the rotary compressor can be improved.
