Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector device for an electrical equipment which is installed at a steering wheel and uses comparatively a large amount of electric current.
SOLUTION: The rotary connector assembly is equipped with the followings; a stator housing 2 which is set on the side of an automobile body, a rotor housing 3 which is set on the stator housing 2 in the rotatable state and is joined to a steering wheel, an attachment 4 which locks the rotor housing to the above stator housing 2 in the rotatable state, a flat cable 5 which is housed in the housing space A composed of the above rotor housing 3, and the stator housing 2. The attachment 4 constitutes a ring shaped flange part 4a, and at the same time, is equipped with a slip-ring mechanism between the flange part 4a and the bottom face 2a of the above stator housing 2.
