Title:
ROTARY CONNECTOR HAVING BALL CONTACTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2735533
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector which works firmly and reliably by coupling a plurality of electric wires with conductive rings of respective insulated apparatuses which enable coupling of electric signals through a rotary connector.
SOLUTION: A rotary connector 10 consists of a housing 11 having an aperture 12 and a rotatable shaft 13 is installed through the aperture 12. The shaft 13 is so fixed in the housing 11 as to rotate by bearings 14. The connector 10 also contains a plurality of electric elements containing two or more coupled insulated apparatuses 15 containing insulated members 16a, 16b and the members 16a, 16b having a plurality of conductive rings 17 formed in the surface. Respective insulated wires 16a, 16b connect respectively neighboring conductive rings 17 of flexible printed circuits 16a, 16b by respective conductive balls 18. The end face of the circuit board 16b has a plurality of holding grooves 26, a plurality of loaded holding apparatuses 25 are installed, and contact between each ring 17 and each ball 18 is made reliable.
