Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure in which axial displacement of a rotary connector to a steering wheel is absorbed to eliminate rotation delay.
SOLUTION: A pair of connection pins 3 are protruded from the upper surface of a movable side housing 2 of a rotary connector, and the connection pins 3 are engaged in recessed parts 5 formed in a steering hub 4 on the steering wheel side, so the movable side housing 2 is rotated by interlock with rotation of a steering wheel. A prism-shaped root part 3a and a pair of finger parts 3b are integrally moulded with the connection pin 3, a slit 6 of a constant width is provided between both finger parts 3b, and a thin part 3c is formed at a center of an inner surface of the finger part 3b.
