Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a snap engagement piece from being accidentally slipping off from a protrusion during transport of a rotation connector or after assembling a steering device in which a plate-shaped body and a cylinder-shaped body that are molded separately can be easily integrated with each other by means of a snap action.
SOLUTION: A U-shaped snap engagement piece 16 having an engagement pore at the outer circumference edge of a bottom plate 11 is integrally formed; on the other hand, a pair of protrusion stripe 17 and a protrusion 18 are integrally formed on the outer circumference face of an outer cylinder body 12, the bottom plate 11 and the outer cylinder body 12 are molded separately, after which the snap engagement piece 16 is elastically deformed, the protrusion 18 is engagingly locked with a lock pore, whereby the bottom plate 11 and the outer cylinder body 12 are integrated. In this state, substantial outward direction of the snap engagement piece 16 is surrounded by both protrusion stripes 17, and both protrusion stripes 17 functions as a slip-off prevention part to maintain engagingly lock between the snap engagement piece 16 and the protrusion 18.
