PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector composed by enhancing the reliability of a structure for connecting it with a steering wheel by preventing a breakage accident due to flexure of a connection pin and rotation delay of a movable-side housing.
SOLUTION: In this rotary connector, the movable-side housing 2 made of a synthetic resin is connected to the steering wheel through the connection pins 7 projected on the movable-side housing 2. The rotary connector is characterized by that the tip of each connection pin 7 is formed into a two-forked shape where a pair of finger parts 7a each having an outside surface formed into a nearly V-shaped form are faced to each other by interlaying a slit 7b; both the finger parts 7a are firmly fitted to recessed parts 11 on the steering wheel side; and the movable-side housing 2 is formed into a structure comprising an upper rotor 3 having the connection pins 7, and a lower rotor 4 having support projections 8 each disposed at a position restraining circumferential flexure of the connection pin 7 and fitted to the upper rotor 3 in a snapping manner.
