Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve precision of a tool and to provide excellent surface roughness by coating the tool with TiN of ultra-hard particles and under the chemical deposition method.
CONSTITUTION: Hard particles 7 of diamond, cubic boron nitride or others are metal-bonded 6 on a blade part under the sintering process or the electrodeposition process. At this time, roughness of a cut face is set as Rma×10 microns and surface roughness on the bottom side of a cutting face as Rma×5 microns by coating them 8 with TiN.
