Abstract:
To provide a rotary cutting tool capable of crushing chips extremely fine.
A super hard tip 18 made of a super hard material is provided on a distal end part of the rotary cutting tool 10. The super hard tip 18 has a cutting blade 20, a first rake face 24a, a second rake face 24b and a wall surface 26. A cutout part 22 is provided on the cutting blade 20. The first rake face 24a extends from the cutting blade 20. The second rake face 24b is provided in the rear of the first rake face 24a and is higher than the first rake face 24a in height position. The wall part 26 connects a rear end of the first rake face 24a and a front edge of the second rake face to each other and extends in parallel with the cutting blade 20.
