Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten cycle time of pipe cutting by moving a disc type cutter in its pull direction along the axis of a pipe in a device for cutting the pipe by revolving the disc type cutter around pipe material in the state of pulling the other end of the pipe material.
SOLUTION: In the case of cutting pipe material P, the tip part of the pipe material P passed through an axial hole of a cutter head 31 is pulled and clamped by clamps 61, 61, and the rear end side is fixed by fixed clamps 91, 91. In this state, cylinder mechanism 52 is actuated to pull the pipe material P toward the tip, and simultaneously, a cutter 40 is radially moved toward the axis of the pipe material P and also revolved around this axis to cut the pipe material P. At this time, a cutter slide 20 and the cutter 40 are moved in the pull direction of the pipe material P by link mechanism, and the same effect as double pull is obtained in spite of single pull so as to shorten cycle time of pipe cutting.
