PURPOSE: To improve the cost and labor saving and environment by a method wherein some finely divided processed items are taken out without using any crushing machine in a rotary cylindrical processing device.

CONSTITUTION: Processed item 24 is dripped in a droplet form by a dripping device 25 onto a surface of a cooled or heated cylinder 22, and this droplet is closely contacted with the cylinder 22 by an endless belt 45 so as to perform a cooling or a heating process. The dripping device 25 includes a porous drum 26 and a pressing and excluding roll 27, the porous drum 26 is provided with inner teeth 28 at its inner circumferential part and a plurality of processed item dripping holes 31 positioned at a bottom part of a tooth groove 29 and communicating with an inside part or an outside part. The pressing and excluding roll 27 is provided with teeth 32 at its outer periphery to be engaged with the inner teeth 28 of the porous drum 26. The processed item within the teeth grooves 29 is dripped in a droplet form from the processed item dripping hole 31 by the pressing and excluding roll 27 rotated as the porous drum 26 is rotated.
