Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily incorporate damping force regulating mechanism into a damping force generating mechanism effective on both which is interposed in a communicating flow passage for communicating two pairs of operating oil chambers with each other, and facilitate oiling work, in a rotary damper.
SOLUTION: A communicating flow passage 29 for communicating two pairs of operating oil chambers 17a, 17b, 17c, 17d with each other, a damping force generating mechanism 31, and an accumulator are arranged on a casing 1 side, a bypass flow passage 55 is arranged so as to bypass a damping force generating mechanism 31 from one operating oil chamber 17a, 17b utilizing a part of the communicating flow passage 29, and a damping force regulating mechanism 59 which consists of a throttle valve 57 for enabling outside regulation is interposed in the bypass flow passage 55. A cut valve for enabling opening/ closing operation from an outside is interposed in an oil passage for communicating a temperature compensation accumulator 48 with the communicating flow passage 29, and a throttle is arranged on the cut valve.
