PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary locking by forming a handle which faces an open and close lid in a lock case which incorporates a lock mechanism which locks and unlocks due to rotary operation of a dial ring and is fixed on the open and close lid of a case.
SOLUTION: A lock case 2 of a rotary dial lock 1 is provided with a storage cylindrical part 4 which incorporates a lock mechanism which is operated due to rotary operation of a dial ring 19, a handle part 5 like a case is formed on its side, and a front plate part 6 is integrally formed in front of the handle part 5 and the storage cylindrical part 4. A cover body 7 which covers the storage cylindrical part 4 and the handle part 5 except the front plate part 6 is mounted and fixed on the lock case 2. As for the handle part 5, a space 10 is formed by surrounding the circumference except the front by a wall face, a finger insertion port 11 which opens the front plate part 6 in the rectangular shape is formed on its front part, and a projection fringe 12 having a predetermined height is formed in its lower part to form a handle 13. Consequently, it is possible to open the open and close lid without touching the dial ring by using the handle after releasing the lock by rotary operation of the dial ring.
