Abstract:
To protect a tip extending in a lengthwise direction of a processing tool which firstly contacts a sheet when punching and creasing the sheet on a die board of a rotary die cutter.SOLUTION: A rotary die cutter comprises a hard pressing component 13 on a peripheral surface of a die board 10. The pressing component has a length in a circumferential direction of a die roll 1, contacts an anvil roll 2, and presses the anvil roll 2 within a play range of a bearing supporting a shaft of the anvil roll and in a direction orthogonal to the shaft, thereby increasing a distance between the die roll 1 and the anvil roll 2. A front end of the pressing component 13 is positioned at a part contacting the anvil roll 2 until an initial processing tool 121 reaches a point at which the same bites into a sheet S the most, and a rear end of the pressing component 13 is positioned at a part which is spaced forward from the initial processing tool 121 by a length exceeding a prescribed length of an end allowance Sg. In the state that the anvil roll 2 is affected by pressing by the pressing component 13, processing for the sheet S by the initial processing tool 121 is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
