Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lengthen the sevice life of a die, and easily cope with even large diameter goods or even small diameter goods by constituting at least an edge die part of a die out of sintered alloy steel having the specific composition and the composition.
CONSTITUTION: In a die B, a hollow installing cylinder 10 and a hollow work cylinder 11 are integrally formed. The installing cylinder 10 is composed of a highly strong metallic material such as structural alloy steel. The work cylinder 11 contains a single kind or two kinds by 2 to 10% in the weight ratio among C : 1.5 to 4.5%, Cr:2 to 6%, W:0.5 to 10%, Mo:5 to 15%, V:3 to 10%, Ti:2 to 12%, N:0.3 to 3.5%, Nb and Ta, and the rest has the composition composed of Fe and inevitable impurity. It is also composed of sintered alloy steel having tissue where titanium nitride and carbide mainly composed of MC type carbide having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 5μm are uniformly dispersed in a basis material mainly composed of tempering martensite.
